2017 Fish Fry Fundraiser was a Big Success – We raised $5,620.23 to benefit AAR!

Fellow Club Members,
On October 21st the 5 O’ Clock Phlock held a Fish Fry at Janie’s Bar to benefit the “Abandoned Animal Rescue” (AAR). The event included a Silent Auction, 50/50, and a Booze Bucket raffle. I am very pleased to announce that our club raised $5,620.23 for our charity! I would like to thank all of you who participated in this event. I would especially like to thank our Team Leader, Mike Marsh, who did a fantastic job of coordinating the event. In addition, I would like to thank the other team members, Bert Gilbert, Joe Spilman, and Bob Radtke. In addition, I would like to thank those of you who donated gifts to the “Silent Auction” and to the “Booze Bucket”. I would like to give a special thank you to the following:
Kevin Cormier – Again this year, Kevin generously donated the fish, hush puppies, french fries and cooking oil.
Janie DeBlanc – Who donated her bar for the event.
Clarissa Alfano – Clarissa was Janie’s Internal Coordinator. She did a fine job of collecting items for the “Silent Auction, and worked very hard to make the event a success.
Greg Connett – Whose wonderful music perfectly complimented the afternoon!
Thank you to the attendees from AAR who brought dogs which were up for adoption. ( If I didn’t already have two large dogs a home, Samson would have come home with me)!

I am very proud of all of you who worked so hard to make this such a success!
