Our annual event to support SPCA SNAPS. We always have a good turn out. Bring dish to share, chairs, and your beverage of choice and most important: Dog and Cat food, old sheets, blankets and pet toys. Come prepared to join in karaoke. Sing great or a little off key, its alright! It's all about fun and taking care of the pets. Note: This is a NEW DATE for this event. Yes, was always in August - too hot. Then it was in May, but had to be changed due to a scheduling conflict. June 6th is a firm date! |

National Parrothead Day is celebrated on June 28th each year. The term "Parrothead" was coined by Timothy B. Schmit, a former member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, during a concert in Cincinnati on June 28, 1985. The term refers to fans of Jimmy Buffett and his music, who often embrace a laid-back, tropical lifestyle.
