ONE OF OUR GRANDEST EVENTS. Walking Parade downtown Conroe, Bagpiper, 5 O'Clock Jamm Band, and soooo much more. As always bring a dish to share, and wear your GREEN. Corner Pub really goes all out with drink specials, green beer, corned beef and cabbage and their staff make the day special.
Gather around 4:00 pm, Parade 5:00ish, then the Shenanigan begins.

National Parrothead Day is celebrated on June 28th each year. The term "Parrothead" was coined by Timothy B. Schmit, a former member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, during a concert in Cincinnati on June 28, 1985. The term refers to fans of Jimmy Buffett and his music, who often embrace a laid-back, tropical lifestyle.
